Castaic 1-30 / Got a little action

I Finally got a chance to break the skunk and did just that! I just put in a stereo in and Ive been looking forward to cranking it for the last two weeks ...I got to the lake around 10am and started off a little slow so I decided to bait n wait and hit the tunes over at C-point... oh man... wtf.. the storms must have done something to it it doesn't work :Angry: ! Now I'm upset.. No tunes the freakin thing wouldn't turn on...wawawawaaaaa.. At this point I decided to start fishing hard. The water levels are at near max and I was reading them everywhere. I found a comfy spot and dropped anchor. within minutes.. Bingo.. I mean Bendo! We hooked 6 dinks from as deep as 100', one weighing around 3. I landed one 4lber fly lining a chunk, it slammed it 15-20' underneath my yacht. Only managed to put 7 on the boat but two of them were of decent size. Fish fry at grandma's tomorrow!2038420385

Not too bad! I was there for a couple hours in the afternoon and manged 1 myself and my dad manged 1, but that was it. Where were you fishing?

i did not do stripe bass fishing for a long time lol
but im gonna go down to castaic lagoon this tuesday to try my new float tube :)
