San Bernardino County Regional Parks - Junior Fishing Workshops
"Children benefit from outdoor activity," said Interim Regional Parks Director, Maureen Snelgrove. "The workshops were initiated last year and we offered three workshops to children ages five through nine. The response was so strong we have increased the eligibility age as well as the number of workshops we are presenting this year. In getting our youth enthusiastic about fishing, we will hopefully develop their interest in the sport and keep them coming to fish in our parks."

February 13, 2010 - Mojave Narrow, Victorville
March 6, 2010 - Yucaipa, Yucaipa
Trout Derbies
February 6, 2010 - Prado
March 20, 2010 - Mojave Narrows
April 10, 2010 - Glen Helen
San Bernardino County Regional Parks is well-known for their Trout Derbies. Anglers come from across the Southland to try their hand at catching the largest trout in the fastest time to vie for valuable prizes.
