Fishing shore at Perris today.....

Hi everyone...new to the forum.

So I'm doing some shore fishing today at Perris and just wanted some input on what I should use. I was thinking spinner baits and drop shots. Any advice on colors and techniques? Looks really nice out there today.

Dude the water was 50 and there were no bites on shore. I asked some of the guys on boats and they said that all the fish were really deep and not biting. I still got a little trout and some bites but it really sucked out there. I wasn't going to fish for trout but when it's cold that's what hits i guess.
