Hey guys,

Its been a while since I've been fishing at the lake so decided to post here to check up on this awesome city park lake.

I'm thinking about taking a novice bass fisherman here, who needs some practice since he will be entering into some bass fishing tours with Lucky Craft Pro-Staffer Brent Ehrler. We will be fishing basics such as drop shot, senko's, and some jigs in/around the weed lines.

How has this lake been producing? Any tips you guys can share with me?

Thanks!

Also, I'm looking to see with whats up with Pack Road Park Lake as well. Never been there, so the day I go to Legg might be the day I go here too as well.

I grew up fishing those lakes and i also worked both boat docks when they use to be there back in the day.
All three lakes have shad in them and rattle traps, soft&hard jerkbaits will work. The north lake by the fwy has a lil cement river that holds fish and theres a drain to the right with structure. The weed line in the middle lake would be good to try.. at the south lake, theres a building and just below it is a big tree and cement slab where the dock use to be..try there...then to the left is a bridge where there use to be a man made river that use to flow when they turned it on...try there
My last time there was in november and i picked up a nice 5lb bass on a custom rattle trap. ..fishbones
