A friend in the midwest picked up this lure for me from Academy, a sporting goods chain only in that part of the USA. Academy is the only place selling these swimbaits, and they are pretty cheap-$8 each. This one is a 3.5 inch one, they come in 3.5 and 4.5 versions.
Here's the one I got

I'm not a swimbait pro but this lure feels great, looks great to the touch..just gotta take it out on the water :)

I really want to get one of the sunfish pattern ones next, they look really nice (link (http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38&_nkw=h2o+swimbait) to a bunch of them on eBay, prices jacked up a bit because of demand)

Anyone heard of the Academy H2O swimbaits? The guys on the Texas fishing forums were raving about them but I couldn't find any mention of them out West.

Let us know how it goes with them. I hear they are pretty fast sinking.

They look good.

I have seen those on eBay before. They look pretty good and I kind of want the bluegill one. I don't want to take a chance on them though. Tell me what you think of them once you try one out.

Did the Bath Tub test, it swam really nicely. Did sink a little fast. Will be taking it out soon.

I'll give you $20 for one.... Looks like a good bait to add to the collection.

Just get one on eBay! They aren't too expensive, so I am probably going to get one on eBay.

Haha, I'd totally go for that, but it's the only one I have...maybe when I make a trip to the Midwest I'll pick some more up.
Fireball, yeah, I'm totally digging the bluegill pattern too...It'll be my next purchase

I've been trying to get them on eBay but I always lose the auctions, even with a snipe tool. They have been going for $15-$25

I'm a sucker for small lures, that 2.5 inch one looks awesome. TackleTour showed it from the bass-a-thon...hope Spro releases it soon
