After the week of storms, we finally were able to get out on Sunday. The swells were brutal the day before, but it calmed down and got pretty nice. The swells were still rather large, but at a long interval. So, we headed on up the line for another day of bass fishing. The first spot was out a little bit deeper, and we pulled a few bass off of it, but nothing special. We then moved in shallower, and it was probably the best spot of the day. The spot was right underneath the boat, so you had to cast underneath the boat. It was a pretty instant bite for a little while, but eventually tapered off. We then worked our way south and tried another spot that was pretty hard to locate. Once we located it, we caught a few fish, but it pitered off. The last spot was very good, and once you hit the bottom, it was pretty instant. After a while, we headed for home, getting about seven around on the bass and quite a few sculpin. I'm happy that we're seeing more and more calicos coming off of the stones, it's a really good sign. Jackpot went to Tradition regular Ray Mesina. Great times, great fishing!

Hi Jackpot Jimmy,

Thank you, I forgot to mention what we used. Most of us used two ounce bullet style leadheads with whole squid pinned on. Most of the time, however, we slip Kalin's 6 inch mogambo grubs in the chartreuse hologram color onto the leadheads, and then tip it with squid.
