Big thanks to SVUE and Fishslayer!

Called up SVUE last Thursday and asked him what he was doing on Monday. He says nada, I said "Good cuz you are taking my lazy arse fishing." Didn't even have to twist his arm. LOL. Showed up at his house at 12:30 and Fishgheymer was already there so we loaded up the boat and off to Point Loma we went. By the time we fueled up, got some snacks and what not we were on the water at about 3:30 am.

Plan was to head out to Hidden Banks and work that area and then head towards the 390. Water temp was 64 and would not go higher. What was so hot last week was cold as a witch's boobie. Spent a good 3 hous there for nada. Just then Robert sees a HUGE pattie and we slide up on it. BAM! Right away Robert hooks up. A 21' CC rolls up and hooks up too and farms it. Then it was SVUE's turn and BAM! He tells me to take his rod, I was like whatevers man, I need no Charity so suck my arse. :lmao: Then the CC hooks up again and farms it AGAIN! Pretty much screwed it all up for us and spooked the albies off.

Since Robet drove the boat all night he was beat so he went down to take a nap. SVUE makes an executive decision and heads towards the 182. No more than 10 miles out and water temps climb, two rods go off ZZZZPING! Robert and I bring it in. Minutes later Rod #3 goes off. SVUE brings it up. Went dead for the next couple hours. Just as we thought it was dead BAM! Two rods go off again! Now we had 5 on the boat in matte of two hours. SVUE is now beat and goes below to take a nap. Within an hour, two rods go off again. I grab one while Robert mans the boat, I look over and out of nowhere VUE is next to me. This guy was like speedy Gonzales I tell ya! "Andale, Arriba!" We both bring it up and drop the trollers again. Then another and it went dead. Just as VUE says let's pack it up and go home one of the rods go off again. Talk about a great ending! Went home with 9 nice albies on the boat.

Thanks once again SVUE and Fishslayer for taking me out, I had a blast!

They only showed briefly last season. Very small flurry of them.

I have fished for albies more times than I can remember (on cattle boats) and although it was fun, I never got a deep satisfaction as an angler since the captain was doing 90% of the work finding the fish (how hard is it to flyline a bait?).

Taking a private boat with the friends, coming up with a game plan and then executing it is awesome! I am sure you guys felt as if you conquered the waters that day.
