Rancho Derby and day after

Derby: It was great!!!! The bite was on! I started at the front lake by the playground and got 1 right off and then nothing. So I went to the back lake and slayed them for the rest of the day. It was crazy back there cast after cast fish after fish. :EyePop: I was using a orange jig all day. My biggest was 2lb 12oz and it got me 14th place so thats cool! The winer was 14lbs ?ozs.

Day after derby: Today wasnt so good for me I got the big :Skunk: haha. Its cool tho. The fish were schooled up everywhere they just had lock jaw or somthing. It should be good this week coming.

One last thing it was nice meeting all the FNNers out there I had a great time fishing with you.

i only ended up with 4 fish, and i found out that back lake was way better than the
front a bit too LATE. haha. its all good tho, ima hit it up friday.

1st place fish was 14.5 lbs.was also illegally netted w/o a hook and line, 7 fisherman witnessed the net job , and told the derby staff, they didnt beleive the 7 fisherman , so the derby staff let them have 1st place anyway, i fished the front lake had my limit by noon all over 2lbs. my largest was only 2.7lbs so i didnt place, but it was fun trying, i caught mine all on the good old power mouse combo, i was dissapointed to see they let 1st place win with an illegal fish , oh well , Tight Lines all except the 1 st place cheater
