You're holding up Ronald Raygun as some kind of hero? He was just an actor pretending to be a politician! He blew chunks as our governor, and continued the pattern as president. Check out his non-sanitized bios and you'll see a stumblebum thespian who rose to power because he looked good on camera. After Nixon first appeared in the Kennedy debates, it became clear to the Republicans that they needed somebody who looked good on TV. (Nixon looked like a Neanderthal throwback). Let's get that mediocre actor from California and make him our posterboy! We'll just pull his strings and make him do our party's favorite dance--The Footdragger Shuffle. I think Sarah Palin should head this third party and gather up the Tea Baggers to become a potent force in this country.
