Well, never thought id see one in our area, supposedly water spouts have already touched down in the ocean. Also the news says clouds behind Catalina look worse than what we have now ~ Also capable of producing twisters.

So, stay safe out there guys

Driving back from New Mexico last night, on the I-8 at around the Jacumba area was a real chore. I was doing 20 mph, and the truck still felt like it was almost hydroplaning....maybe a 4 or 5 cars in the ditch at the base of downslopes on the highway.

Raining like biblical proportions here in San Diego at the moment.

They said a small water spout hit Huntington Harbor and damaged a few boats and docks, I can't confirm it just what they said on the news.

I am hearing a twister set down in LB, made it's way to Fullerton, and ended up in Chino Hills. Anyone see Dorothy flying by?

Looking at the news, it appears the water spout hit one of Long Beach's piers, resulting in 6 BSB, 1856 croaker and 2210 short lobster raining down along Interstate-5.

and they say the big storm wont be here till thurs.Perhaps it will be like early 2003? That was some pretty wild weather.

I counted over 20 small funnel clouds that morning, and lightning struck right next to me.

thunder made me deaf for a second.. I just felt a nice tingly sensation, then saw all my hair standing straight up in a car window.. I was like "Oh sh-" *BOOOOOM*

yeah, i was walking outside this morning around 6 to watch the lightning from my porch up here in SLO, and as soon as i opened the door, freaking bolt lightning struck the foul pole in the baseball field right across the street from me.
