GARMIN FISHFINDER 400C - Comments??

GARMIN FISHFINDER 400C WITH DUAL BEAM TRANSDUCER.

I was looking at this unit as a replacement for the old Lowrance sonar on my bass boat. Does anyone have any experience with this fish finder?

Sorry no experience with this unit, other than some research on it because it's the one I've been considering also to take the place of my older 667c furuno color graph great unit just to big for the dash of my 18ft skiff, I had it on a prior larger boat it was fine there, before you buy be sure to check them out on ebay quite a substantual savings 100-150bucks. For me I have always had good experience with garmin, gps ect, if you do buy that unit let us know how you like it.

i've had my 400c for about 3-4 months now. It does its job very well although I would like them to one day update their software system to something that of the apple iphone's for more user friendliness. All in all, its a good unit.

I'll get mine installed this week, and will hopefully be able to test it out in a couple weeks.
