Just thought I'd post up, got to the lake not super early but around 8 eager to launch the boat. My son helped my launch it out and we were on out way. DEcided to try the boat dock cove and anchored right out from shore but 10 minutes in no one was catchin anything and neither were we. Drove the boat round and saw bout 10 boats anchored in the flats figured we'd try there. As soon as my bait hit the water i got 2 fish. This was around 10 or 10;30. Both fish were near the 3 lb range. Steady fishing throughout the rest of the day in about 13 feet of water using green and salmon egg peach pb. Biggest was about 3 and a half pounder but my son and i were both happy and went home with a bag full of fish.:Big Grin:
