Made some unplanned plans to meet up with Jason and Tess at NPH Sunday afternoon, and John had perfect timing when he sent me a text asking when I was going to NPH again. So the plan was to all meet up around 1530.

I was fiest to arrive at 1530 on schedule, John hit some traffic and Jason and Tess were running a little late so I decided to launch the first wave of the attack while I was waiting. I decided to try a new technique for the harbor that I have never tried there.

A few cast into it I got this guy.

Got another shortly after that I did not take a pic of.

Made a very short move and hooked into this Tournament grade Spottie, be a decent fish in the summer. Came in at 14 inches.

John arrived and we still waiting for Tess and Jason so we fished the same area.

"Berkley, Catch More Fish"......I am sporting one my my Christmas presents.

Jason and Tess arrived and we started hammering the spots.

John got this nice one.

And then I kept at it.

John got another.

Jason and Tess have more pics, and not all fish caught were photographed.

There were some quality fish caught, I think the count was something like this.

John 4 Spots
Tess 4-5 Spots
Jason 1 Spot (No skunk)
Eddie 9-10 Spots

It was great fishing with all of you, as usual. I hope your feeling better John!

Till next time!

Eddie is just being modest... he was hammering them spotties all night!! :Smash: By the time we got there he'd already caught 4 and he was consistently catching em up until the last fish of the night. :UDaMan: Awesome job, way to work that new technique!

It was great to finally meet you, John, hope we can all get together again sometime soon. I'm thinking of getting some waders of my own to get into all those great spots.

Here are the pics from our camera. Enjoy!

John, it was good meeting you and I'm glad we all got to fish together. We should all do it again sometime and hopefully everyone will catch their fair share of spotties instead of Eddie poaching them all.

I wish I could have done better, but I'm just glad I got the :Skunk: off. I learned something new that night. :Secret:

Eddie, Tesserz, Jaysuuun, John,

I see you all have created another branch of the S.W.A.T. Team (Still Water Assault Tactics).

When Eddie purchased his waders I really thought we had finally converted him to finally try the Surf and never return to his past ways. I now know he was really thinking of ways to better attack the shores of NPH without getting his feet wet!

Although he is not the first to do this it can be used to your advantage to get to the spots at higher tides in the harbor!

Here is a past photo of the Pirate Crew attacking the Harbor in the same gear!

Sounds like you all had a great time out there putting the hurt on them spotties!

Tesserz,

Way to hang in there and show the Boys that the Suspender Wear is not necessary to to have a successful evening out there!!!

Jaysuuun,

Time to get out of the breaking the skunk trips on shore and have a better day!

John,

Nice to see you have a good day out there on foot!

I hit it up a little farther down from where you all were with Eddie this evening! He started off with another Big Spotty! The final count was in my favor though!!

Steve

PS Eddie,

Stay away from my Harbor Mistress!!!!!!

Eddie, let me show you the proper place where you can put those waders in action.  :Big Grin: The NPH Spotties Lynch Mob at it again, nice job to all. Been going crazy at home with the high surf conditions. But it finally gave me a chance to take down the Xmas deco on Sunday though... We need to fish together soon!

Well, that was fun!! I think Eddie has named all of those fish and knows exactly where each one lives.
He was definitely on his "A" game for the light biting bass session. I used my new UL trout set up with
4lb test that night which was fun too.

It was nice to finally meet Tess and Jason out there. I'm looking forward to fishing with you guys again!!

Till next time,
John

Keen Eye TS! But only during the curfew hours! All the docks with the blue posts are Public Docks and are subject to the same regs as Piers!

Thats exactly right, even if it's just one. Even if it's none! It's all about the effort and good times with good people!
