Dvl 1/9/10

Went out for my first time to fish DVL by shore. i have fished it many times from a boat just got sick of the cost. All in all it was a good day. I was fishing for trout (after reading chads report. haha). I hooked many trout and shook them off once i saw they were small, and the ones i did get to shore were all released. no big ones for me today, but did see one 6lber taken on nightcrawlers and a 3-4lber caught on a trout worm. All my fish were caught on Lip Ripperz Lit'l Ripperz in casper white color.

My first fish of the day was the only one photographed. It was something other than a little stocker. haha. not my intended target either.

ya no worries chad. i have a better idea of the area now that ive been there. i really enjoyed it.

let me know next time youll be there and ill see if i can come follow the master around. haha.

thats a nice catch you got there.. looks like you had fun... That boat ramp is a long way down. I went there when you couldnt take your boat on the water and i rented one i walk up and down that ramp like 12 times in one day and hated it. it is a long walk to the top not bad going down but coming up was bad.

Ya that ramp is crazy. But i enjoyed fishing it so the walk up was worth it.

bassassassain: GO FISHING! haha. I fish dvl from a rental boat usually but the shore was nice. and if your not a trout guy there are plenty of bass in there as well.
