Well I went to SARL right after work. Got to the gate around four thirty or so. The first in line. Paid my gate fee and went up to the takle shop and used my free boat rental pass that I won making a fish report on FNN.
After that I went and parked my vehicle near the dock. Got all my gear on board the motor boat but couldn't take it anywhere yet as I am waiting for my fishing buddy. He finally arrive around fiv-iesh or so, grabed a tub of n/c and loaded all his gear on the boat. Off we went straight to the bubble hole. Within minutes my buddy Pheovy yells, "Got em." I said, yeah right, you just threw your line in the water. Took a look at his fish jig gear and sure nuff' major bendo! See the pix immediately below. That's not a boil, that's a monster trying to break free from a three pound test p-line. Drag system is set perfectly and the fight was on......

About ten minutes later he comes up again......

Major bendo action. This beast has a full tail I sware. He went everywhere. Under the boat. Under the bouy. Back out to deeper water..on and on....

Finally getting tired I bet. He's not as aggresive like before. In the beginning he would just take a dive and disappear for a while. In this pic he came real close to the net. But he still has enough energy to give another run. Patience my friends, patience......

Finally the fight is over. And the man who has to most patient wins... WOW... I think the fight lasted over fourty minutes..... He was using glow in the dark white jig with garlic sauce....

Way to go Pheovy!!!!! That is a monster! It tip the scale at seven and a half pounds......

After that monster catch he caught two more two pounders-Trout. We move every where looking for fish but could really get on to the right spot.
I ended up with this sucker right using n/c. no skunko and had a blast with my bud..... maybe I'll do better next time.

btw, my buddy didn't want to take his picture with the fish for SARL so I did it. Just to show what was caught that night. I'll catch my own and say yea biatch, I did that...lol
