Hey everyone I just got back into town from the Big Rock Tackle Distrubtor show in Las Vegas this mornnig and reported back to duty. The first thing I was shocked at was the list of big fish from the day prior. But wait there is more!!!!!! The big fish continued on the torrid bite from the day prior with an astonding five four fish over the ten pound mark being weighed in today! Just for the record this will probably be my longest report to date so sit back and enjoy the show!!!
Charlie Lee set the bar for the weekend guys to top with this massive 15.4 Rainbow. Charlie was fishing from the west shore with a nightcrawler when this lunker decieded to bite. Charlie weighed in his fish at 4:15 due to the hike back to the shop. Awesome fish Charlie.

Dusty Faiello of Long Beach trolled the flats on 1/06/10 and was rewarded handsomely with this 12.2 Rainbow. Dusty was pulling a firetiger Rapala when this big bow' bit.

Raul Gomez game in a little late this afternonon due to his work schedule. Raul told this writer I just wanna get some fish for dinner. And get some fish he did!! Raul hauled in this 11.10 Rainbow while fishing a mealworm in woodys cove.

Micheal Ferber also made the long hike to the west shore on 1/07/10 and he too was rewarded big time. Micheal pulled in this 11.10 Rainbow while soaking a garlic powerbait and nightcrawler combo.

Issac Manta of La Mirada took advantage of being outta school today and but the hurt to the lunker population of Irvine Lake. He pulled in this 10.2 Rainbow while fishing in woodys cove with rainbow powerbait.

Ron Ceaser fell just 8 ounces shy of that elusive DD mark with this 9.8 Rainbow taken on 1/06/10. Ron's fish fell for a powerbait and trout worm combo fished from Trout Island.

Bud May of Huntignton Beach also hit up the troll bite at the lake. Bud trolled up this 9.5 Rainbow while pulling a Rapala mid lake. Great job Bud.

The infamous Alan "One_Leg" Rudd of Orange also trolled up a nice one too on 1/06/10. Alan was trolling a firetiger Rapala around the flats when this nice salmanoid bit.

Also cashing in on the big fish bite was noneother than Chris Edwards of Tustin with this 7.8 Rainbow that was taken from the backside of trout island. Chris was fishing a nightcrawler.

I also saw lots of limits being pulled in today all over the lake. However, I think the big fish show made these guys not weigh in . But Mrs. Wolfe wasnt afraid to show off her limit taken from the flats.

Get out here guys while the fishing is hot! This is impressive list of big fish! Hope to see you all soon. I really cant wait to show off some of the new products in the store. Their will be stuff from Berkley, Shasta Tackle and some companies in Oregan that had some trolling tackle I could not just pass up. Also making a return will be the hard to get Bubbelgum SC Shiners. As for the Berkley goods think Gulp Bait and Garlic together and a new Natural (the same as the Garlic and Salmon Peach that are ohh so deadly!!!) Powerbait in a Hatchery Formula (they actually took the pellets and made a power bait outta them!!). Hope to see you all on the water and that it for now!
