It's not often that it snows in the UK the way it has been the last few days - it's literally brought the country to a standstill with airports closed, railways not running, even a lot of bus services are not running.
Just thought you might enjoy this satellite picture of the snow literally blanketing the country.

Yup. My brother who lives in the north west (Staffordshire) has a 30 minute commute. It took him 3 hours to get to work on Tuesday and he's been working from home since.
England is basically closed, right now! :ROFL:

Mind you, I'm certainly not being smug about living in Southern California. I did not mention to any of my friends or family that I'm wearing a t-shirt today, or that it might be nice to pop down to the beach for an hour. No way, sirreee!!! :ROFL: :ROFL:
