Anyone know of a fairly inexpensive long handled net that I could buy? Where and for how much? An alternative would be a net that allows a handle to be screwed into it similar to a broom handle or a telescoping pole used for painting. Do you know where I could find such a net.

I thought I would get one before heading out to the aqueduct so I am prepared, just in case. It looks like some of the sides can be a bit steep and difficult to navigate in some places. Now if I could only catch a fish there like so many other stalwart slayers.

I was thinking of a net like the one in the above you tube video (2 minutes into the video). Maybe it is overboard but it sure is a cool looking set-up.

Or at the beginning of this one...

Go custom. Go to a pool supply store and get the long handle attachment there. Then get some hose clamps and affix a net of your choice.

Walmart has a really nice filbrill colapsable fine mesh net. Just bought one for 25 bucks. They have three kinds regular big net material, the rubber net, and the fine mesh net. Go for the fine mesh one.
