Oh Yeah! Much better than when I took you up there last year. Just finished putting the knife to my Jailbirds! I think I'll give some of them to Ed so he can smoke 'em for me and the rest will find themselves wrapped in a tortilla blanket! Had a great time out there last night Brother. Thanks Rambo ... I started with 5" White/Ghost Fluke Jerk Shad on a 1 oz lead head with NOTHING ..... the Red Eye Sexy Shad saved the night!! :Cool:

Very nice job and I'm glad to see my recipe put to use, you must also try the cambells tomato soup striper recipe and the Mushroom and Asparagus recipe (both of those are baked versions)

One question: by the looks of the batter, I think you must have used the regular Mcckormicks fish fry rather than the beer batter (the regular is good too !) but the "beer batter" version is just that much better...

Why I say that is the "grainy" texture of the batter...

Try the oficcial "beer batter" Mcckormicks....and for a crunchier batter add 1/3'd of Don Cachere's Cajun fish fry mix to the whole thing.....IT ROCKS !

Either way it looks real good and makes me hungry...

Not only for a hookup but for a stripey taco as well.
