After reading all the NPH reports I felt the need to hit up my old stompin grounds. I had been in touch with Jason about meeting up down there so that was the plan. I arrived about 1430 and fish for about an hour with no bites when Jason and Tess Arrived.

After they got there and set up the D/S I decided I would go back to my old favorite BH Swimmy.

Was not too long and I landed this spottie. I wore my waders so I was able to wade out and fish over some docks that you normally could not fish from the shore.

I got another smaller one on the next cast, but it was not picture worthy.

Jason decided to jump on board not too much later.

Now here is the last fish.......there seems to be some disagreement on who this fish belongs to..Jason or Tess..as you can see by the look Tess is giving......lol

Jason and Tess called it a night around 1900 and I was not far behind at 1930. The incoming tide was just starting when we left, who knows what the night would have brought.

Good to see you two again, it has been awhile. We will do it again. I hope your backpack was in a safe place when you got home!

Eddie, it was nice fishing with our spottie mentor once again. :Fishing Catch: Thanks for sharing your supplies with us. It reminded me of the first time we met up as harbor newbies when you shared your knowledge and hooked us up with a bunch of lures. Trust me, I will not forget to bring our bag of goodies again. :Embarrassed:

Let's hit up Nph again and this time let's not wait til next season to do it. The bite should get better, I think.
Btw that was my fish! Sorry Tess :Neener Neener:

Tesserz, Jaysuuun & Eddie,

Nice to see the 3 of you out for a NPH Reunion!

Although it is a tougher winter bite it is still action,

Eddie, Last week the water was lower than that and I was using the same over the dock delivery in my booties! Not sure waders were required but then again I know your phobias!!!
Surprised you did not have on the Pink Arm Floaters as a precaution!!!:ROFL:

Tesserz, Sorry, but you will get them next time!
