Hit up the usual spots with a different tactic. Knew I was short on time and daylight since the plan was for a short one hour session from 5-6pm so I went straight to the technique that was working last time.
First few casts resulted in bites, but the EWG hook I was using just wasn't able to pierce their mouths, so I switched it up to the worm hook and began hooking up right away. Only problem was that I was missing bites, farming fish, and getting owned time after time. After breaking off or missing 5-6 good, solid bites I hooked up. A rather chunky spotty unlike the annorexic models of last trip.

Measured out 15.5" and estimated 1.5-1.75lbs.

Missed a few more bites, but finally hooked up to this young WSB. At first I was thinking Corvina, but upon further inspection, no orangemouth or fangs, so WSB it is.

Cute little guy. Maybe 8-10".

Bites were coming from almost every structure I made a good cast at and they were not at all shy. All in all it could've been a more more successful outing if not for all the missed bites and farmings. Oh well. Better luck next time.

I think your WSB is a Queen Fish. Nice spottie in the first pic.
