Just a heads up there is a new 2.00 per person fee for shoreline fishermen for a "Trail Fee" or you an buy an annual pass for that fee for 25.00.
This is retarded sounds like the shore guys are paying for the new launch ramp. Either that or they are finally building the escalator from the store to the bottom of the road by the east dam. lol

trash + enforcement= more operational cost

isnt that what they charge you an entrance fee for? or are we still paying for the parking lot? oh well everything else in life is getting more expensive, I guess why not.

I'm gonna plead the 5th on that one boys. However, when it comes to saving a penny and it really comes down to it. I'll save the $1.25 and jump in the bushes...toilet paper or not.

-$3 fishing access is used for tout stocks not for operating costs.
-$6 of the launch fee goes to cover the cost of the ramp extention.
-Only the $6 launch fee and $7 parking fee go to operating costs.
-The marina is staffed with 13 employees on a light day.
-Assuming they get paid $8 per hour ( not includning work comp, medicare, unemployment and SSI employer pay ins and medical benifits) it would cost the marina $936 just to cover wages.
-with an average 30 boat/parking per day it would take 78 shore/trail users paying $7 to cover the cost.
-Obviously this does not take into account boat rental and tackle sales revenue, but there are many other costs ie. isurance, fuel for the generators and rental boats, hazmat disposal, rented Porta potties that must be pumped weekly, boat repairs, new outboards, upholstery, and so on.

Yep! The times are sure changing. I remember pulling my truck up in the dirt and fish sitting on my tail gate at the pudd for stocked trout for free. Then it became a county park.

Personally I think a couple of bucks is not that much considering the fishing there.............

I "resemble" that remark. However, the only thing retarded about me are my looks and my IQ.
