Big Bear 12/30

I headed up to big bear this morning thinking that the snow would come in around noon. I cast out a worm on my first rod and started casting a kast master. After about 10 minutes my first rod got hit and I ran over to pull in a nice rainbow. I cast back out and changed over the other rod to a worm set up as well. The weather started to roll in and the snow started to fall. No more bites so I decided to pack it in before 9am. I guess I caught my last fish of 2009 at least.

There was quite a bit of open water by the dam to fish, just wish they were all biting as good as that first one i got, haha.

just walked & looked at the lake today from moonridge & the ice is everywhere.beautiful view but did not look like much to fish.
