Hit up DVl on a cool day, mostly cloudy, with some info on the deeper bass. Just learning the lake, last year caught the majority of my bass on the dams. We hit the main points working a jig and some C-rigs. Caught 4 bass, all on the C-rig, 3 on main points and 1 in a cove, all 30-45 feet, three 2#s and one 3#. Not great, but a good start fishing structure for us. Finally got my Dad on some fish. Only fished from 8:30 to noon. Learned a lot. Will be back at it soon. (Two guys came in behind us were striper fishing - ran into a school, landed 7 big ones!)
