those stripper's shure like one dollar bills. um if you want to catch the trout by the casinos use small gold trebble hook and just put bread on the hook nead it around the gold trebble hook and use no weight fly line it , the trout are under the carp when people feed the carp the trout eat what the carp miss works every time but you will probly get kicked out most casinos dont like people fishing in front of there casinos , but just move down to the next one lol .

That was real good advice

I fished the other side of the river by some condos and caught largemouth, striper, trout and bluegil all in 2 hours one morning.

At the casionos, I have seen a school of about 200 striper although most were 8" but some were bigger.

Last 4th of July I brought my pole to fish the casino side at sunrise, cause I figured noone would kick me out cause there was noone else up that early. I was too hungover and didnt try it.

its been a while but i used to have great luck right by the harrahs casino theres this point that pokes out and its up river to fishing it is perfect especially if you need to walk a big fatty striper down river, its perfect because those stripers are in the middle of the river so bring some rocket launcher poles to get out there.
there is also a pocket where the water swirls to a water inlet or outlet of some sort on that same point that always has trout schooled in it....caught a few bass there aswell....carp are everywhere just in case the skunk was hidding in the tackle box...LoL goodluck....fishbones

Hey Ghetto,

Just go back form a weekend trip to Laughlin.....river is down alot. This they are restricting water flow from Davis dam. Didn't see the usal fish swimming in the river either! Water is crystal clear though.

Best bet might be to hit the craps tables...LOL I managed to pull $926 bucks off of one table after an hour of play on a $40 buy in! Pay for my whole weekend!

Good luck.

Ghetto Fishman,

Got back from the 07MAR Laughlin trip, had a blast at the Riverside. Brought the Rods and weapons planned to go Sunday but with the rain happening and a favorite slot machine in front of me I left laughlin still ahead$. We did walk down to the Harrah's beach area to down some brews and that point looks sweet, we plan to stay at the Harrahs next time and will hit that point.

I plan on going this Sat night (3-13-10) for the night. I hope to do some fishing early Sun morning. Where would you park when you would go fish that point by Harrahs? What is best to fish for this time of year?
