nah, not at all.
fishing has been damn good lately. lots of 15"-16" fish with quite a few in the 3 to 5 pound class.

Just wanted to see who'd been in the last couple days.
My bass buddy and I went to DVL on the Sunday the lake was opened to the public. He did not want to go out the day before at 3:00 and sit inside the gate all night so we decided to hit the lake around 8:00 am after the line had shortened up. What a surprise... they said they only had 40 boats +/- in the morning.
Man is it great to be back on DVL. That lake has the kind structure and the bass are so healthy.
The first two fish were shorts! Then we went a little deeper and the big boys came to play. The smallest fish taken after we went deep was 3-6 and all of the fish fought like they were 2 to 3 pounds heavier than they weighted! Not one of them had hook marks in their mouth.
With DVL being opened back up, maybe it will give the bass at Lake Perris a chance for their mouths to heal back up!:ROFL:
