12/21 live report

Got here at 5:30. Lines in the water by 6:15. Nothin so far. It's about 9:00. About 150 yards north of the boat docks. Fishin with pb night crawlers n a power mouse. Here with the gf and tryin to put her onto some fish. Seein as I haven't fished for trout in a year or so any tips on hot locations would be fantastic. I'll have a full report comin at the end of the day.

ended up back in the flats by the gate/fence. scratched away all day for 3. lines in at 6:15-lines out at 4:00. long day. my old lady got to reel two in which really made it nice. at least she got two. they were all caught deep so id suggest puttin some weight on n givin it a good toss. they wanted nothing to do with power bait all day. the guy next to me got 3 as well all on crawlers, as were mine. ill have pics as soon as she emails em to me

Not that im a Trout Guru like Troutdog or Troutman, but if the water was still dark...use short leader...clearer longer leader...

Ive also found that the use of Fluorocarbon has helped me out at times....either 2 lb or 4.....

Also, i also have better luck than most with that GULP garlic spray (not the aerosol but the spray)....i add that to my powerbait and inflated crawler...usually makes a difference, IMO.....
