Just fine not great. I arrived at the vine about 8:00 a.m. It did not look as crowded as a normal tourny probably because of the economy. Maybe? I started the day on the troll. We went over to trout island and start in that area. I put on some plastics and dropped in at 35ft. All fish where suspended in approximately twenty-five feet of water I trolled about 75 yard and bam a hook up. I thought is was going to be a good day because of the instant bites. But I wasn't really sure. We stayed in that area and worked it fairly heavy for a few hours. By the end of I managed four fish ranging from 1.5 to 1.75 lbs. The wind started to pick up and midday the bite slowed down. We moved around to the west end but it was dead. Trolled some more and got short strikes not really committed to the bite. It was a hard bite for my son all day. But it worked out in the end.
We moved to here and finished up the day with limits. Everyone was catching in this area about 1:00 p.m. The fish seemed to be the same size as last year. This was my first trip to the vine this year that I stayed until 2:30 in the afternoon trying to get two limits. http://i343.photobucket.com/albums/o470/Hook-Set/DSC02343.jpg
