pulled up at glen helen to see a CRAP load of people already there AND the wind was blowin like mad.so my buddy and i decided to go to yucaipa..bite was pretty good..lots of bigger fish comin out due to the mt lassen trout stocked yesterday.my buddy caught a 5.7 lber and there were about 4 or 5 other ones that were over 5 pounds..i only hooked up to one..o well.. not my day.

just the top lake..and using any color jig in the corner where the dam and the dirt meet..by the lil spillway..killin em..goodluck guys!

they get stocked every thursday, just like all the other city parks.. idk when ill b up there again.ill prolly b there for the derby

Its every other week. They might put some big ones in next week cause of Christmas. If your time in & fish there every friday this winter i bet you'll get a nice fat lassen.

Every week me and a bunch of my friends try to get there early and try to hold down the spot . By far the best spot on the lake.

Most likely closed on stocking day (Thursday). I've never fished at Yucaipa but getting in some practice before the derby seems like a real good idea. (Someone PM if you're going!)

i kno right? lol no i know for a FACT we will because yucaipa is a good jig lake(guasti is not) and thats all im going to do is jig that lil cove i mentioned ;)

Haha yea save me a spot. You better camp out overnight though or its going to be you and 400 other fisherman in that spot. :ROFL:

Yep! But for the derby it will most likely be in the middle lake.

They do two lakes either the top and middle or top and bottom.

Next Lassen stocking should be for the derby.. Rumor has it they will be stocking DD fish for the derby.. Last years winner was 19lbs and change.. I fish the lake with the other "regular" on Fridays also..

This week they will be sticking on Wednesday for the weekend holiday. You will be able to fish the lakes on thursday as far as I know.. I will be there for a couple of hours, I have to go to work in the afternoon..
