little lake in hemet ?

has anybody fished little lake in hemet (anglers lake). i havent ben there in years. any report would be helpful. thanks scott / TEAM BRING IT:Guns:

its dry right now they are redoing the dam and adding a lot of structure they should be refilling it soon hopefully..

actually they have dredged it and the dam is complete. they started filling in up about 3 weeks ago. they put several rock piles for fish habitate. they only thing is they are not sure they are ever going to open it back up to the public. if they do it will be run by valley-wide.

Yeah, I was pretty sure they closed the lake. Didn't know that they are redoing it, that's cool. Haven't been there in a good 17-18 years but my grandpa used to take me there. We'd kill the trout with mini jigs. They always stocked good sized trout in those days...

Ya, that lake was dried up last year some time. But, before the drained it some of the guys from this site went out and slayed some largies on this little body of water.. I hope that they reintroduce the Lmb, to this lake.

I hope they were able to relocate the fish that were in there before they drained it completely. Perhaps to another local lake. Or perhaps they harvested them.

I hope that Little Anglers lake re-opens . Its a cool little lake . If they are doing all the things that was said on here I can't see why not re-open the little lake . Thanks for the updates

they moved over 1200 fish up to lake hemet from anglers most of them being largemouth up to 15 lbs..

I use to fish Little Anglers Lake when Scott owned it back in the late 90's ealry 2000. Scott bought it from his father in law years ago. It was like a long term lease on the land or something like that. So the lease was up and the water pump broke all at the same time. Im guessing that was a good time to walk away from it. When they drain the lake all the fish were taken to Lake Hemet.

That was a neat little spot. Never had much luck, but it was relaxing and a quiet place. Allof the old locals liked it and I wish it would re-open for them. Those guys could sit in lawn chairs and wait for days for bites. Man, that is patience.
