has anyone been lately? how has the stripper and bass bite been. i am thinking of taking out the boat tomorrow.

the inlet near the damn is good for bait and wait anchovies..cleghorn cove is good for the swimbaits..

it was pretty slow. i left the boat at home. caught one trout, gave up on throwing the big baits at about 1 or so. trout started to bite around 3. sorry no pics. dont think they stocked yet, so dont get your hopes up on the stockers. also talked to a couple of guys that fished from a boat with no luck either
Next time you'll get em! I'm going to try and get to Silverwood next week to try my luck.

Fished in the pouring rain today. Fish on almost every cast by the boat launch on mini jigs. We were told that the lake was stocked on friday. By the amount of fish we caught I believe it.
We got there at 10 AM and the people in the booth said we were the first car to go in the lake today. Had to try out my new water proof jacket.

We fished until 230, and there were literally 5 people besides us fishing. 2 guys were throwing trout swimbaits, but there were no stripers brought in, and I didnt see any boils on the trout schools.
