Hi, I know this is kind of random. I am going to get married on March 6th, 2010, and due to budget concerns, the original honeymoon plan has been scrapped. I need some suggestions for a good place to go for our honeymoon that are also relatively cheap (the more less than 2 grand the better). Having some sort of fishing option there is also a plus. The honeymoon should be around 5-6 days leaving from Southern California. I look forward to hearing your suggestions!

1st class resort. ON THE BEACH.
Private hot tubs on your balcony. Surf fishing within 100 feet.

Looking forward to the report! LOL!

Was planning on going last december with the wife and kid to Los Barriles (outside of Cabo). After checking around and asking some knowledgeable FNNers, you could pull it off for under $2K....including some fishing. The major resort there I am told is highly rated.

The other fishing-honeymoon option I would recommend is Puerto Vallarta. If you book ahead, you can get airfare for $250 RT, and right now the resorts are super desperate for occupancy. The fishing there is world class, and you don't have to go on an expensive 6pack guide trip just to catch big game.

Check out this site for great package deals or an insanely cheap cruises:

I use for it for those 3 or 4 day Ensenada cruises. It's legit, and will save you a ton of money.

I was just looking at trips to Cancun in March, for my wife, kids and myself. I found all inclusive for 7 days, that includes airfare, food, drinks and room, from $518 up to $1,035 per person. I'll see you there....:Big Grin:
