Im back in vegas and ive been hitting the lake to try and get my first Lake Mead striper... Got skunked first couple times...but now im getting the hang of it...

Never been to lake mead. What kind of bait you use up there? Nice catch.

That lake is in sad shape with the water level being down well over 100 feet. It seems to go down around 10 feet per year. Glad to see you got into some linesides, though. Just look for the birds...

That lake is in sad shape with the water level being down well over 100 feet. It seems to go down around 10 feet per year. Glad to see you got into some linesides, though. Just look for the birds...

True... The water level is lower and lower every year. I remember a couple years ago going to the lake and seeing people on jetskis here...

Nice stripers!!! I was down around Crawdad Cove on Saturday 12/5, chasing trout......freakin freezing my ***** off. The wind picked up late afternoon and just killed me the rest of the day, I called it quits about sundown. I might be back there this weekend. Hit me up next time you plan on being out there.

oh! Carefull driving in and out,really sandy road. last time i was there i got stuck!! Late at night,so tow truck fees were a mother ******:Angry::Sad:

It's depressing seeing the water levels there. It doesn't even look like the same lake. Still a fun place to be though. Nice job on the stipers.

Nice job on the jailbirds! Also for mead when it dries Vegas is toast.
