Quality Diamond Valley Bass(pics)

Hey, my names derik im new to this area and this site and wanted to show you guys some fish ive caught in recent monthes out on diamond valley lake. I catch alot of my fish on mattlures swimbaits just about any of them and robo worms texas rigged, or drop shot, on 4lb test. The fishing reports are amazing on this site and thier are some great fisherman. Especially ive been looking at art berrys fish and the fish hes put people on. congrats man thats insane.

and that other guys is my buddy anthony ive been fishing with out their for the past month or so. The water level has been gettin higher and i think theyll be allowing private boats out not to long from now.

Cool pics, and yes the lake opens to private boaters Dec. 20th, or the week before if you have a yearly pass. Nice job on the bass!

thanks guys i appreciate it. i go out their just about every sunday now and usually know whats biting. Ive never had a bad day fishing on diamond valley it really is a jewel of a lake. If you ever need info ill let drop me a line and i let u know what ive been using and where ive been fishing. Most of the fish are on the main body of water now getting into winter mode and the rising water is making the fishing a tad bit slower but while the water rises you can still catch fish in the brush and out deep. I use a 1/2 true tungsten texas bullet weight for fishing deep cuz ive been catching them in about 35 to 40 feet.

Im just tryin to help people catch fish and that hating is not really needed. You can ask the maker of mattlures himself im a very credable and respectable fisherman. haha thats amazing. I catch em usually on mm3 and i fish all over the lake just about. I usaually hit the dam up for a hour each day and pick off some fish and fish alot of points and dropoffs.

well for one im not tied to anybodys boat in those pictures and the only time i ever weighed anybodys fish for them at dvl i took video of the fish weighed and the fish was handed back to me and released all on video.
