Hey guys,

I'm here in So Calif, arrived on July 4th! Man, it sure is nice to be home!

Anyways, I went to Bob Marriotts fly fishing store yesterday to get a spare air valve adapter for my Fat Cat. I came across this pressure gauge from K-pump. I haven't tried it yet, since my float tube is all the way back in Indiana. Just wanted to know if any of you guys use this or you think it's a good idea. Price isn't too expensive either.

How much air you think I should have in the Outcast Fat Cat?

Wow, that's a bit pricey. You should have the pressure specs with the tube directions or I'm sure you can look it up. It seems like it says somewhere on the tube or cover on my Nav 4 :? Seems most tubes require 5 pounds. I've never checked mine. You just sorta get a feel for how much it needs.

I have the Super Fat Cat...I never checked the air pressure

I've always done it by feel...I like my tube hard though...

1/2" to 1/4" play in the nose when you squeeze it
