Haven't been fishing in way too long so hit up dvl this morning. Started fishing around 830 and saw Matt from Last Chance throwing the swimmy. Talked for a min and then caught a small one right off the point by the dock holding the pontoon boats.

Worked my way down the next couple coves for nada. Not sure what was up. Around 10 the wind started to pick up so I went back to where I caught my first fish hoping that the wind would help the bite pick up. A couple casts in I get hit but swing and miss. Thinking it was probably just a dink I casted it right back out in the same spot get hit again and stick him and right away I knew it was a nicer one. Great fight on 6lb test but no match for the Pixzilla >:]

Nothing but a couple short bites after that so called it a day around 11. Beautiful morning at the jewel. Oh yeah fished a dropshotted Skinny Bear Shad Eye bait in Ayu Shad color with a red Owner hook. Can't wait till the 20th I'll be there along with the other 98965656 people -___-
