I was scratching my head the whole time:EyePop:. He said he wanted to show me that trout are not that picky and I didn't need to use 2# or 4# line I could use 30# and the would still bite. The proof is in the pudden. He killed them.

Thanks,

Dana< That is how I did the fillets (very easy to Fillet there are no small bones) and then I soaked the fish in Milk in the refrigerator for 2-3 days after that I Deep fried it with Tempura this was very good. I also Made it in a way that My friend taught me a long time ago. Make a solution of water and sugar, 1/2 -1 cup sugar to 2 1/2-3 cups water and boil this and then put your fish in this boiling solution until done. Remove and drain water and then dip in melted buter with a little salt to taste. This is what we call (Poor Man's Lobster - This works great with Halibut to). I will tell you that this sturgeon was the first I have ever ate and It was Incredible, lite, Flakey, absolutly no fishy taste it was just fantastic. Now don't tell everyone, I need to find out how to Target them before the word gets out. They really are Incredibly Delicious I was amazed. If you ever eat 1 you will never release or give them away again.

Great eating My Friends:Big Grin:

Yeah, Sturgeon is one of my favorite fish to eat. You can make good jerky out of it as well.

That is one crazy looking rig there Omar... Weight above a snubber, then a swivel snap connected directly to the lure. No offense, but I am surprised that you caught anything with that rig.
