hello guys
i have been fishing for a year n' 1/2 on saltwater n' i like to try freshwater fishing;a buddy of mine told me i need two kinds of set-ups , one for trout and one for bass/catfish.
i would like to know the brand n the model of the pole and reel for trout (spinner/bait-casting)
for the bass i would like a bait-casting combo ( i have an Abu Garcia 5600 c4 bait-casting reel)i used it for plastics on the ocean.
thanks guys.

For around $80.00 you can get a Shimano Sahara which is perfect for 2lb and will hold close to 300 yds of it. I would look at getting something used in a rod so you can spend less but get more. If you are interested I know of a Phoenix Elixir Series that you can get for around $150.00 (It's not my rod) that is rated 1-6 and is 8 foot. If you are not interested in jigging and just looking to fish powerbait then you can fish any light action rod you want and it's not really that crucial. Really just depends on what you want to do.
