8'6" clarus trade for 8' trout rod

8'6" clarus casting rod. medium light action 6-12lb 1/4-3/4 oz. an LC goes a mile but i use it for tossing 1/4oz or 3/8oz big hammers in the surf and bay. im looking for a 8' or longer trout jig stick. make dosnt mater much as long as its in ok shape. scratches and superficail stuff will be over looked. i really need a jig rod lol. let me know what u got. thanx guys.

nobody has an extra rod?? lol dosnt mater what brand as long as the action is good and the guides are SIC or equal... no metal guides. bump.. ill throw in a curado 200b (the older style) if its a price problem.

dude 8 ft minijig rods suck! IMO, idk how much trout fishing you do, but i think its safe to say i do ALOT... and ive learned the best lengths are 7- 7'6'' 8 foot is way to long.

ok well you have one to trade? lol what if i like 8' rods? i used my clarus for dropshotting bass. some ppl say thats too long of a rod but it worked great for me. different strokes for different folks i guess. i just want a rod to get me 50 foot casts with a 1/32oz. mini jig. the longer the cast the better.

ok last option is to sell the clarus. $50 takes it. if you want it with the curado $100 because it needs the drag serviced. might just needs some decent drag grease or a new one.

is it 2 pieces?

yes its a 2 peice. they dont make the 8'6" a 1 peice. just the 7'9" and under.

what's the condition of the rod?

good condition. i think it has one small scratch below the first guide but nothing to effect the performance. damn think casts a mile. cork is in good shape too. just a little dusty from sittin on the rod rack.
