Any Catfish planted in OC for Turkey Day?

Planning to go fishing for catfish early morning on Turkey Day if they planted at any of the OC lakes listed for this week on the DFG site. Anyone know if they planted cats yet and where?

You are better off targetting trout. They just stocked a bunch of places in OC with trout.


Carr park lake, huntington park lake, laguna, Eisenhower, and greer park lake were all stocked this week.. There should be a few trout left.


use chartreuse powerbait.. ive been having luck with that lately.

I was fishing at greer yday and got skunked, seemed like they didn't stock trout.

all the parks mentioned were stocked... (throughout the week, they dont stock them all at the same time)

They wont be biting the same exact day they are stocked. (usually)


Ever noticed how your new aquarium fish wont eat until they get used to their new settings?


Try again today, Friday, the 27th. They may have just stocked it yesterday.

If you arent getting bites, move. Dont just sit there for two hours... MOVE.
