As the fish gods prefer, I invited my friend Chepe (The lead singer of the band Cold Duck) out to Guasti because he lives in Rancho Cucamonga and has never fished Guasti and partly because he's out fishing salt with his buddy Dan Hernandez.
We got to the lake at 9:00 and had the poles in the water by 9:30.
Jose then saw his bobber do the bouncy-bouncy, set the hook and pulled in a catfish on spring green powerbait.

We fished the rest of the warm day until closing at 5:00, with Jose catching two trout throughout the day.
Here's Chepe with his basket o' fish (1 cat, 2 trout):

For me: SKUNK
Oh well it's always the rule of thumb to let your guest out fish you.
