Other than a small hole on the other side that looked like birds were picking on it, it looked fine.

I hope this wasn't a deep water fish that should have been fizzed before releasing.

Wow Flying! That looks like a fish that is still alive. It's fin tips haven't even faded out yet, nor have the eyes lost their color. Must have just died. I don't suppose you measured it did you? That "fresh-dead" bass could have been used to make a nice custom mold for my inventory of LM Bass molds for potential replica mounts....

It was pretty fresh. I almost thought it was still alive as it felt like it almost moved. The 1'' hole on the other side pretty much said it was dead. It was the biggest I've seen in person. I'm guessing 8ish lbs. I dropped it the first time picking it up. It was very fat too. Not sure if this was from bloating up after dieing.

I didn't measure it. Didn't really want to touch it too much.Most of the floaters I see are pretty rotten so just the idea of that still got me a little grossed out.

It was at the Lake patrol ramp Saturday. More than likely still there.
