I am interested in fishing a trout tournament but i have 0 experience in tournaments. Do you need a boat? Is there a minimum age? (I'm 16) How much is the buy in? and finally what lakes usually host tournaments? all i've heard of are the Irvine Lake tournaments.

Thanks,

Greg

If you go to Irvine lakes web site www.irvinelake.net (http://www.irvinelake.net) you can find the info you are seeking as far as Irvine lake tourneys.

Not really sure about other lakes.

The blind bogie that is coming up during the Thanksgiving weekend is a good one . You don't have to put in any extra $$ for it. Check out Vineline's post in the Irvine lake section of the boards.

Hope this helps you out

well if you want you can go fishing with me, and i will sit right on top of you, and cross your line all day long, and start a few arguments with you, and maybe a few select curse words, and then you will be ready for a trout derby.
