Do not sleep on the Ninja's we are still here and mastering all levels of technique. This Ninja Mission consisted of Chef, The Real JbassC and I. I had been waiting all week for this night because I knew what I wanted to throw.
JbassC was the first to start off the night and right off the bat lands a thick 5 lbr. on a T-Rigged Senco his lure of choice. I came armed with a few Swimbaits and missed one shortly after Jbass's fish. It got completely blown up on but I tried to set the hook to soon and missed it.
We continued working hard into the night. Jbass ended up catching another one but was a smaller version bass. There were many bites into the night but the bass were unbuttoning. They must have been camera shy.
We were coming close to ending the session when all of a sudden I feel the familiar tap and pull. Swing hard and the fish was on. I ended up landing this one. Caught on a 6" Huddleston which was a nice 3 lbr. I was letting them sink all the way down and bringing them back in with a slow to medium roll. I lost a toad that felt like I got snagged on something. I started reeling him in but he shook his head and the swimmy went flying. Possibly a DD?
We kept at it for a while but decided to end the night. Cheffy Baby farmed a couple but was officially skunked.
