View Full Version : Late Report From Castaic Upper Lake 11/10/09

Me and my nephew (Zplug Junkie) decided to hit up Castaic. We got there around 3 pm and try at the Old Launch Ramp all the way back to the Main Ramp for about 2 1/2 hours came up with nothing. So, we decided to walk along side the East Dam toward the tower. 30 minutes before they closed the lake, it was wide open. We caught our limit of stripers on Rat-L-Trap and Krocodile Spoon. I'm telling you, yesterday was the best day of my life since I started fishing. I never had that kind of luck before. I guess we were lucky... :Big Grin:

very nice haul...I went to DVL instead, maybe i shoulda went to my stomping grounds. instead...They pumped some water in there and it was slow!

I went to DVL yesterday and managed to pull one of them (6.11lber Striper) out of the water early in the morning on Lunker Punker. After that, it went dead. Decided to hit home around 12 noon.
