Sorry, no pictures - I forgot my camera! But it's my first trout report of the season :LOL:
Kaitlin and I got in line around 5am, we were in the first line. Hopped on up to the tackle shop to pay, but turns out they now have credit/debit card hookups in the gate shacks! Yay!
We got set up by around 6.30am, we had 5 guys to the left and 3 to the right. KT got the first hookup, a nice stocker size trout!
About an hour later, we both literally hooked up on the same fish, and we almost wet ourselves laughing! It was quite funny :ROFL:
About an hour after that, I hooked up on a nice rainbow but then the bite died.
On the plus side, it was a case of:
Girls = 3, guys fishing either side of us = 0!! :ROFL::ROFL:
