Went down to Lake Dixon Friday with a friend. We rented one of those junky little row-boats with electric motor. Right after getting there I hooked a good size Rainbow, but lost it right at the boat. I was fishing for bass and was throwing a crankbait. Other than that Rainbow we were both 'skunked' for the day.

Hey i'm sorry to hear about the skunk at Dixon. I think i was out there on Friday too. I was fishing from shore in trout cove. It was completely wide open but it was ok. I ended up with my limit of trout and i lost a couple to the weeds. Anyway, they stocked 4500 lbs of trout for the veteran's trout derby that started today so that should spice up the bite. It you need any tips PM and i'll tell you what i was using. Take care and if you're out there this weekend i'll be out there too.
