Just curious. I don't fish the salt very often but was out near dana point and caught two of these on hardbaits. I thought maybe a small bonito or species of mack. Not sure. Someone please clue me in. I hope the pic works.

Definitely looks like a small bonito to me. I could be wrong though.

Thats kind of what I thought. Its been a long time since I caught one though. They were a lot bigger the last time I caught them.
