Hi Everyone,
Hit the water just before sunrise in the tube by the Observatory on Saturday morning. Very light breeze, but it picked up and by 8am it was headed for the usual strong easterlies.
Not a single bite all morning. I was mainly trying deep with flys on one rod and gulp nuggets deep under a bobber on the other. A couple of trolling boats each picked up singles, but not too many people out on the water.
The whole prior week winds looked very mild and I was hoping for the same on Saturday. No luck :(
But on Sunday, the winds were very mild. Sheesh - I picked the wrong day to fish this weekend as I wanted to spend at least one of the days with the wife.
Oh well, hopefully next weeked works out a little better.
