does anyone know a good place to catch some opaleye? i remember back in the days at dana point theer used to be a bunch of opaleye, pretty good size too, they were so yummy i used to catch alot of huge ones off that dinky pier! recently i went with my friend and we went down the ramp on that floaty thingy and saw some opaleye, caught some tiny ones..but useless. i want to eat them. it was so hard because they dont even bite peas anymore! someone gave us mussels and that worked eral good. i went back to that pier a couple times hoping it would return to how it was back in the days... anyone kno where to get some good size opaleye?? and alot of them?
